Adir Morgan

Hi! I’m a PhD student at the Technion, Israel.

I’m generally interested at applying theoretic stuff to problems at the real world.
As this is very broad, I have scattered along many topics. It’s probably not at the best of my interest, but I’m learning to live with it.

My current research focuses on application of theory and techniques from graph algorithms and combinatorial optimization to robotics problems.
Especially, I try to use graph-algorithmic perspective to bridge the gaps between Motion Planning - robots getting from A to B, and Task Planning - robots performing complex tasks.
You can read more about my PhD research interests here.

I love traveling around the world, cooking, and studing non-productive topics.
I also like teaching but I try to keep this unhealthy hobby to a minimum.

This website containts (or at least it should) writings about selected works on all varieties - from “official” publications and projects, teaching materials I write, and random notes on stuff I’m thinking about.

If you found anything particularly interesting, let me know!

Prior to my PhD I was an algorithms R&D engineer at Samsung, Trieye and Solidus. I’ll try to write about each soon.

Happily co-advised by Oren Salzman and Kiril Solovey!
